LNOE137 showcases the fruits of an exciting collaboration between US based producers; Rinzen & Enamour. Both have a very impressive track records, releasing music on labels like Mau5trap, Anjunadeep, Yoshitoshi and more. This joint effort brings out the signature qualities of both producers, utilizing the weight of Rinzen’s cinematic sound design techniques and the playfulness found through Enamour’s eclectic musical upbringing.
The result is best described as a club EP, containing huge awe-inspiring moments and some very big grooves. The title track ‘Photon’ creates an intriguing atmosphere, using spread-out staccato melodies and a big bass-line to set the mood, followed by ‘Miracle of The Sun’, bringing a playful groove into the landscape and slowly building towards a drop of cosmic proportions. We’ve asked both producers to give their comments about this release;
Rinzen: "I'm honored to make my debut on Last Night On Earth with this new EP with Enamour. I've always loved the label's consistency and quality of releases. Beyond that, Sasha has had a major influence on my career and is a constant source of inspiration. It feels surreal to be releasing on his label now."
Enamour: “Sasha has been a role model for many years as someone who confidently stands between genres, bridging the sounds of the past and future—two traits I consider defining elements of the Enamour project. It's been great working with my good friend Rinzen again. I find we work really well together, pushing each other out of our usual habits to create music uniquely different from our own styles yet still a clear mix of our musical DNA.”
The EP also features a remix by the Polish producer ANII, who has been making a name for herself on labels like Afterlife, Kompakt and Stil Vor Talent. The rising star has outdone herself on crafting a remix of ‘Photon’ utilizing her enigmatic plucked synths, and signature drums to shape the original tune into a big festival banger.
Rinzen & Enamour’s debut on LNOE will be out October 1st on LNOE, followed by the ANII Remix on October 8th - available across all digital platforms.
