At Kanad Hospital, our story is woven with a rich tapestry of faith, compassion, and dedication. Founded in 1960 by Drs. Pat and Marian Kennedy, we embarked on a mission of healing, at the behest of His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. As American physicians, our primary goal was to honor God through the provision of loving healthcare to the people of the Gulf region. Our hospital, owned by True Sojourners, a U.S.-based humanitarian organization, operates as a not-for-profit institution.
