Center for Book Arts

The Center for Book Arts is a dynamic space with active printing & binding studios and innovative contemporary art galleries located in the heart of Manhattan. Programs include thematically based group exhibitions to bookbinding, paper treatments, and letterpress courses. Founded in 1974, it is the first Center of its kind in the nation, and is/continues to be an institutional model.
